RyKy Records (tm), the music label of Voron Communications, Philadelphia, PA, seeks to "make a difference" in peoples' lives through our music and through our community initiatives and activities. We seek to both entertain and enlighten audiences throughout the world.
Lyrics of songs we have released champion various themes: peace; love; patriotism; faith; spirituality; self-improvement; inspiration; dreams; and caring for people, the world, and the environment.
A portion of the proceeds from sales of the "Wind Dance Musical" CD Album benefit the Michael S. Monaghan Memorial Scholarship Fund.
We have launched a "Spell 'Philadelphia' " campaign to help people learn, through music, how to spell the name of the "City Of Brotherly Love", our hometown.
In conjunction with our release of the "Saint Francis Cantata" CD Album, we initiated a Church Outreach Effort as a tribute to St. Francis, the patron saint of animals and the environment.
And, in January 2006, RyKy Records (tm) co-founders Joseph F.M. Pokorny and Neal R. Voron helped celebrate Ben Franklin's 300th Birthday by attending beer columnist and radio show host Joe Sixpack's 'Joe Sixpack Toasts Ben Franklin' event at McGillin's Ale House in Philadelphia... Neal handed out flyers with the lyrics to the song, "Beer", from Joe Pokorny's "Benjamin Franklin Musical" CD Album, and the whole room joined in with Joe to sing his tribute to Ben's fondness for beer!
Stay tuned... Although we released the "Save The Earth" song on our "We Stand United" CD Album, it's really going to be extra special as the title song on our upcoming enhanced "Save The Earth... A Contemporary Musical" CD Album!
